Located right on the lake-front, Homewood Mountain Resort has one of the most scenic locations in the Tahoe area, and the best lake views. A favourite amongst locals, but extending a warm Californian welcome to visitors, Homewood is a popular destination for our returning groups for both its scenery and abundant snowfall – an average of 450 inches annually.
On the slopes
From the shores of the lake up to the summit at almost 8,000 feet, Homewood offers an incredible variety of skiing: trademark hidden powder stashes in the tree-lined runs or open bowls at the southern end of the resort, and wellgroomed boulevards for the less adventurous. Benefitting from the shelter of Ellis Peak, the entire mountain escapes high winds. Home to two terrain parks and more than 60 runs set in over 1,260 acres, you will find terrain for all levels of skier or boarder with no lift queues.
