Bad Kleinkirchheim, or BKK as it is better known, is located in the picturesque Nockenberg Mountains of Austria’s Carinthia province. This world renowned resort offers groups of mixed ability an excellent range of skiing with a wide variety of slopes.
On the slopes
BKK offers great skiing for all levels of skier but first-time and intermediate skiers will definitely benefit from the resort’s plentiful wide runs. There are snow-guaranteed nursery slopes at the top of the Nockalmbahn gondola which leads to long and moderate blue runs giving beginners a chance to improve their skiing skills rapidly. Experienced skiers are well catered for with the famous Franz Klammer downhill run, designed by the legendary downhill Olympic champion himself, which is truly a challenge for any skier! BKK also has a great park for boarding enthusiasts. An obstacle range has been created for beginners as well as experts providing a good all round area for either polishing up on your boarding skills or for just having some fun.
Off the slopes
The après-ski opportunities within BKK are exceptional, offering a lively ambience geared to those who are looking for fun. Activities include the Römerbad, where you can enjoy the BKK thermal water pools, bowling, curling, pizza night and karaoke.
