This high altitude village boasts the world's highest underground funicular system, the Metro Alpin. An exhilarating experience for pupils and teachers alike, culminating in a fantastic revolving restaurant at a massive 3500m. There’s excellent skiing for beginners with large nursery slopes at the edge of the villages of Saas Grund and Saas Fee. At this altitude snow is virtually guaranteed, for school ski trips with some of the best skiing in the Alps!

This typically Swiss style hotel is owned and managed by the friendly and popular Willy Venetz who has been welcoming British school groups to his hotel for many years. There are up to 100 beds and SkiPlan have an allocation of 50 with more available on certain ski weeks.

The hotel is 250 metes from the departure point of the chairlift and 500m from the centre of Saas-Grund village. The traffic free village of Saas-Fee is reached by the regular free ski bus in 10 - 15 minutes.
The Rodania Hotel has two spacious dining rooms, a welcoming bar, a full size disco, a cellar bar and a games room. The hotel has its own convenient in-house ski and boot hire service.

Bedrooms are nicely furnished and sleep 3 - 6 pupils all with private shower and wc. Teachers are provided with twin en-suite rooms. At peak times Willy Venetz will arrange additional accommodation in nearby Gasthofs for groups of up to 50. Overall a highly recommended hotel.

Facilities include
