Just beneath the impressive Monte Cavallo, the village of Piancavallo was once a small, purpose built ski village. Now it is a fully fledged ski resort, a very popular destination for school ski trips to Italy. Thanks to extensive snow making technology the conditions are usually really good all season, perfect for half term school ski trips and Easter school ski trips alike.
