Tonale is a highly popular destination for school ski trips to Italy. Why? Because it it absolutely beautiful as well as having an exceptionally reliable snow record. This area of Italy's Val di Sole is high altitude but still delivers safe school skiing for all abilities. There are extensive snow making facilities and the nearby glacier makes Tonale an excellent choice for an early or late ski tour. Suitable for all grades of skier, your pupils will love the long and varied pistes. Situated in the Val di Sole, the season here normally lasts from November to early May and skiing is guaranteed on the Presena glacier. Perfect for school skiing with a spot of high drama!

The Locanda Locatori is a 3 star hotel which we have successfully used for many years.

Situated on the edge of the village, but just 900m from the centre, the hotel is particularly suitable for our coach groups.

On the ground floor there is a large bar/lounge area with music and a dining area. For teachers there is an excellent health/spa area on the lower ground level, with jacuzzi, sauna, solarium, massage parlour and fitness room. Supplement for these facilities payable locally.
