Civetta is nestled in the heart of the Dolomites amidst small, picturesque mountain villages. The area is a renowned world UNESCO heritage site so the scenery is truly breathtaking. Civetta is part of the DolomitiSuperski area and its pistes are located on the famous Sella Ronda circuit. With one of the friendliest and best ski schools in the Dolomites, a welcoming family-run hotel and delicious home-cooked Italian food, Civetta is a fantastic choice and represents incredible value for money.
On the slopes
Civetta is great for beginners and intermediate skiers, with blue and red runs covering over 90% of the resort. Much of the skiing is above the tree-line so skiers have wide open pistes to play on whilst admiring the stunning views of the Italian Dolomites. A large network of lifts connects the 4 main resort villages of Alleghe, Selva di Cadore, Palafavera and Zolda so groups can easily experience everything the resort has to offer, and the pistes are designed cleverly so that there’s always an easy option for beginners, or to allow experienced skiers to take a breather or a scenic cruise! The entire resort is covered by snow-cannons so there’s plenty of snow right throughout the season, and there are also terrain parks in Alleghe and Zolda for the daring.
Off the slopes
Après-ski in Santa Fosca is low-key, though we can arrange a pizza evening in addition to arrange of in-house entertainments. For groups with a coach Alleghe has an outdoor ice-rink overlooking the beautiful lake.
