Le Massif
Quebec’s most popular resort with locals is only a 25-minute drive from Mont Sainte Anne.
The ‘base lodge’ at Le Massif is actually at the summit, so even beginners get to start at the top of the mountain, and the excellent nursery area means they get the benefit of the unforgettable views on the easy green runs. From there they can begin discovering the whole mountain, and by the end of the week even the most nervous firsttimers will be able to ski from top to bottom on a series of well-linked green runs. Intermediates will be delighted at the range and variety of the skiing here, with wide-open blues and runs through the trees. The advanced skiers also have a fantastic choice of black and double-black runs to choose from, including the World Cup downhill run Le Charlevoix.
Mont Sainte Anne
A great resort for progression with a series of well-linked runs across the entire mountain.
At the base of the mountain the nursery slopes are served by 2 easy drags and some lovely trails at the mid station. Beginners can work their way higher up the mountain as their skill and confidence progresses and there’s even a moving carpet for beginners on the mountain summit. A choice of long runs will offer your intermediates a real sense of achievement. The lift system is well-planned and the trail-grooming is first class. 66 trails cover 68 km of challenging and varied skiing. Many of the slopes stay open till 10pm and the ski school keeps operating right until the lights are turned off.
