Schladming is now part of the largest combination of ski resorts in Austria! Your lift pass covers the resorts of Schladming, Sportwelt Amadé, Gastein, Hochkönig and Grossarl offering you the choice between 276 lifts and 865kms of piste! Still, your group might choose to mainly ski the vast Schladming area with extensive snowmaking and excellent piste grooming. Beginners and intermediates are very well catered for throughout this beautiful valley and can enjoy many interesting runs above and below the tree line.

On The Slopes

The range of skiing in the Schladming area is extensive, with 84 lifts and over 160km of well-prepared piste.

Schladming is excellent for beginners, as the long, gentle blue runs at Rohrmoos make excellent nursery slopes.

schladming skiing school trip instructorThe Hochwurzen mountain (1850m) served by a gondola or two inter-connecting chairlifts provides intermediates skiers with the starting point of an excellent choice of long red runs back through the pine trees back down to Rohrmoos.

At Winterer connects with a piste to the valley station at Pichl the starting point for the Rieteralm ski area and a further range of long and ideal and fast runs especially suitable for intermediate skiers.

Advanced skiers will enjoy the challenge of Planai's championship downhill course and its exhilarating steep final straight.


Off The Slopes

Schladming is a lively town with numerous aprčs ski activities to offer including bowling, swimming, ice-skating, curling and sleigh rides.

There are also some excellent shops and cafés.
