How It WorksWe work directly with the schools organising and coordinating ski trips to enable them to create a positive enjoyable experience for their students. Before the departure date you will be provided with information on how to organise your child for their future trip from the 'party leader' - the party leader is the teacher at the school who is organising the trip. The School Ski TripParents congregate at the school for departure at the time arranged, where the coach will be ready to either head off to the chosen airport for air travel or to the ferry. On arrival in resort first stop is the SkiPlan ClubHotel or hotel accommodation. Safety is of great importance to us, so during the initial meeting fire escapes drills will be explained to all students and party leaders. Room sharing is pre-arranged with the teacher - girls and boys do not share rooms. Meals are between 6-8pm and consist of a nutritional variety depending on your hotel. There is an allocated ratio of students to teachers ensuring there are enough teachers to cover all the needs of the students. During the course of the ski trip, all students skiing or snow boarder abilities will be assessed. On that basis the students will be assigned to the relevant slopes and during the course of the ski trip will be progress onto more advanced slopes. At the end of each day there will be organised entertainment to fill their evenings, varying from onsite entertainment such as karaoke to ice skating at local amenities. |
