On The Slopes
The slopes are spread along a two kilometre valley and there are over 220 kms of pistes served by 59 lifts, including the super fast Jandri Express to the Mont de Lans glacier. This area ensures that the resort remains open to skiers until May.
The lower slopes are wide and somewhat steep but all abilities are catered for with a good range of high altitude cruising runs, demanding blacks and ample off-piste possibilities.
At village level there are easy slopes to flatter beginners with access to a range of ski lifts. Once started you can head for the gentle green runs at Les Crêtes.
Intermediate skiers are spoilt for choice on both sides of the valley with the glacier offering the benefits of high level skiing and superb snow. From the top there is even a blue run of 14 kms back down to the resort!
There are various exciting pistes for advanced skiers. Not for the faint hearted is the 'Super Diable' a long black and steep mogul field. There are other pistes set to test you and a couple of scary off-piste runs down to La Grave. Both require an experienced local guide.
There's a unique snowpark and a half-pipe. The extensive ski area, with long steep runs, makes it a challenge for the most hardened boarder.
Off The Slopes
Undoubtedly, one of the best resorts for après-ski for schools. Swimming, ice skating, bowling and discos are all readily available.
Your lift pass covers all lifts on the adjacent map and free admission to the outdoor swimming pool and ice skating rink. Skate hire at extra cost.
