La Plagne
1800

Now part of the'Paradiski', La Plagne is at the hub of an immense ski circuit, having linked its already extensive terrain to the neighbouring resort of Les Arcs providing skiers access to 425km of piste, 2 glaciers and two two-tiered cable cars with a capacity of 200. In addition to the variety of slopes, La Plagne also has an excellent snow record and varied evening entertainment options making it a popular choice with British schools.

Choose this resort for:

  • Purpose built ski resort with good amenities.
  • One of the biggest ski areas in Europe.
  • Good snow reliability with direct access to glacier

On The Slopes

Belle Plagne at 2050m offers skiers excellent direct access to the Roche de Mio at 2700m and thereafter to the Bellecôte glacier and its challenging and steep descents. Whilst the runs close to the village are great for beginners, intermediates will enjoy exploring the pistes near Plagne Bellecôte and the other satellite villages which are efficiently linked.

Plagne 1800 has gentle forest surroundings and a village made up of traditional chalet style buildings with direct access to the pistes. Just 200m from our accommodation is the ski school meeting point and access to the Crête Côte 1800 ski lift. From the top of this lift, skiers can ascend further to Aime la Plagne at 2100m or enjoy the wonderful runs down through the woods to the village of Plagne Montalbert.

Freestylers love La Plagne - a permanent half-pipe, a selection of boarder parks and designated areas with bumps and jumps - a real boarder's paradise!

Wherever you are in La Plagne, the villages are 'ski-in' and 'ski-out' - the interlinked lift system is unrivalled and even by night lifts are operated to transport you to your evening entertainment.

Off The Slopes

Each village has something special to offer. Belle Plagne has a bowling alley and a variety of bars and cafés. A gondola can take you to Bellecôte and is operational until 1am. Here you might visit the outdoor swimming pool, the karaoke bar, the cinema or the icerink. Plagne 1800 has several cafés and bars and also has easy access via free skibus to Bellecôte.
