With the high level of comfort of executive coaches and an excellent continental motorway system it has never been easier to travel direct from school to the slopes!
Door to Door Service means there are no problems with transferring your group or their luggage during the journey.
Easy supervision unlike at airports, your group is always together in one place throughout the journey - so pupils can't wander off!
Flexibility because your coach is usually available for use throughout the duration of your trip, you can explore a wider ski area. In the unlikely event of there being limited snow, you can also travel to areas where skiing is available and, of course, coach availability opens up additional opportunities for a varied après-ski programme.
Your SkiPlan Coach
Coaches used on all of our skiing holidays are normally comprehensively equipped - air suspension, reclining seats, sophisticated heating and ventilation systems, toilet, drink making facilities and stereo systems for public address and entertainment. Video players can be requested but are not guaranteed, and no refund will be given if a video player is either unavailable or develops a technical fault.
We recommend that parties bring their own video tapes and music cassettes for en-route entertainment.
Free Pick-Up from School
Wherever your UK mainland school is located, return coach travel (including all road taxes and tolls) is included in your ski tour. You will also have full use of your coach for the duration of your tour, subject to EU legislation concerning drivers' hours.

Your Driver
We recognise the importance of selecting the right driver for your tour: the driver is vital to the success of your school tour. At SkiPlan, we ensure that the drivers are clearly aware of the special needs of each school group and are ready and willing to work alongside the Party Leader to ensure a successful trip.
Coach and Group Size
In order to guarantee a modern coach which conforms to our stringent requirements, it is necessary to limit the size of your party using the following guidelines.
Parties who wish to be accommodated on one vehicle must be limited to 49 passengers and the tour price is based on a minimum of 40 full paying members.
Double decker coaches have up to a 70 seat capacity and tours require a minimum of 60 full paying members.
It must be pointed out that double decker coaches are generally older and do not have the same levels of passenger comfort, luggage space or manoeuvrability in comparison with single decker coaches.
Double decker coach availability is strictly limited at all times in the season and therefore cannot be guaranteed. A supplement of £15 per person is payable on all tours where a double decker coach is utilised.
Please note that SkiPlan reserves the right at its sole discretion to use any or all of the empty seats on your coach for company representatives. You will be notified in advance of appropriate names and joining details.
Your Luggage
Remember luggage space on all vehicles is strictly limited and pupils must bring soft holdall style luggage bags. We will not accept responsibility if the group carries excessive baggage which exceeds the capacity of the hold.
Drivers' Hours Regulations
We can guarantee that our travel arrangements conform to EU legislation concerning drivers' hours and, indeed, to the entire complex framework governing passenger transport in the different European countries. We will provide you with guidance notes on the permitted drivers' hours applicable to your itinerary in your Information Pack.
Channel Crossing
Our Tour itineraries are based on the Dover to Calais channel crossing of P&O or Sea France. Whilst we will make every effort to secure the timing of your choice, this cannot be guaranteed. SkiPlan are able to offer groups the speedier alternative of travelling on Eurotunnel for a small supplement charge. Eurotunnel links the British terminal at Folkestone with the French terminal at Calais in just 35 minutes.
No Small Party Supplement with our Coach Shares on Peak Season Dates
At SkiPlan we are fully aware of the problems many teachers encounter in achieving the 40 full paying passenger minimum party size necessary to benefit from the featured brochure prices.
We are therefore able to offer small parties up to a maximum of 22 full paying members (25 in total) the opportunity to travel with us at no supplement (free Supervisory places are still allowable) on the following peak season dates only:-
December 26, February 09 & 16, March 30 & April 06 & 13
To take advantage of this concession you must allow flexibility within your tour arrangements in respect of the allocation of both resort and accommodation which ultimately will be at our choice. You must also travel on a standard 9 day itinerary, sharing a coach with another school travelling to the same resort or area. Please note that your resort may be subject to change and extra travel may be included to collect the other party. The coach may also not necessarily remain with you in your ski resort.
