A Highly Popular Concept
ClubHotels are an excellent choice for UK schools representing a combination of good value, informal ambience and a warm welcome. Our international team of staff is well trained in catering and provides a high level of service.
SkiPlan groups will certainly get more for their money than a comparatively priced, locally run French hotel.
We don't claim to be the only company using the term ClubHotels but we are confident that ours offer the best standards and overall holiday value!
The SkiPlan Service
The location of our ClubHotels is either on the piste or close by which means that lunch times are not an inconvenience.
Experience also tells us that food and service are two very important elements in a ski tour arrangement. Within SkiPlan ClubHotels we go to great lengths to ensure that our menus are suitable and attractive to both pupils and staff!
Here's an idea of the weekly inclusive meal plan.
Breakfast - A self-service buffet breakfast is provided which usually includes a selection of cold meats, cheeses, cereal, bread with preserves, tea or coffee.
Buffet Lunch - A choice that usually varies between pasta, baguettes or cold buffet served with soup.
Dinner - A three course dinner will be served tailor made to the tastes of British children, but with an added international flavour!
Vegetarian Special Diets - SkiPlan ClubHotels are happy to cater for particular vegetarian/dietary requirements but these must be pre-booked before departure.
ClubHotel Pointers
Our ClubHotels are graded on our opinion of their level of comfort.
Some are no longer subject to official Tourist Office ratings, due to their exclusive SkiPlan leasing arrangement.
A limited reception service is provided, with a duty staff member
always available to assist. Clients travelling on our early morning ski flights with short resort transfers should note that rooms are not normally available until 16.00hrs and check out must be no later than 09.00hrs.
ClubHotels are well furnished and a high standard of discipline is
expected from groups.
A refundable damage deposit of £500 per group must be paid on arrival
at the hotel. Any damages or breakages are the responsibility of the individuals concerned and must be paid for before departure.
All Inclusive Option
Groups staying at one of our ClubHotels can take an 'All Inclusive Option' which includes:-
Buffet style lunch with soft drink included for pupils. Party leaders
are offered limited house wine or beer.
Afternoon tea plus an evening meal drink option as indicated above.
Aprés-ski programme: This will feature two events, which will be chosen
by our resort manager and offered subject to resort amenities.
Normal choice will be from bowling, ice skating, swimming or special quiz night. This 'All Inclusive Option' is estimated to cost around £30 in resort, but can be pre-booked with SkiPlan before departure for just £28 per paying person.
