Our flight programme grows every year and because we are in control, you can depend on it. Our Saturday and Sunday flights mean 5 days off school rather than 6, and you also avoid the crowded weekend slopes.
European Travel by Air
Departure Airports
Our Charter Flights depart from Gatwick and Manchester. We are able to arrange other departure points such as Bristol, Stansted, Luton, Glasgow, Liverpool and Leeds on request. Please ask us for supplement charges.
Short Transfers
The average transfer is only just over 2 hours. We plan our flights to arrive close together so that we can combine our coach transfers efficiently. However, when flights are delayed, it may be necessary to hold your transfer for a short while and we ask for your patience. We may also stop at more than one hotel en-route. Please note that seat belts in Europe are not required by law. Whilst we actively source vehicles with seat belts wherever reasonably possible, we cannot guarantee this in every instance.
Check-in
Our representatives are on hand to help at departure and arrival. Please ensure you check in 3 hours in advance.
Weekend Flights
There’s no supplement for your Saturday or Sunday flight. You need take only 5 days off school and you also avoid some of the weekend crowds on the slopes.
Free Coach To Airport
Free coach transfer for groups of 40 or more paying passengers, from mainland England and Wales to London airports. We may need to pick up other passengers en route to improve our loads. Please enquire for Manchester and other regional airports. Applicable to European bookings only, please enquire for airport transfers for USA bookings.
Luggage Allowance
Please keep to the limit because excess charges can be high. Unless stated otherwise on your ticket, the luggage allowance is 20kg per person plus hand luggage which is normally limited to 5kg. Please note that all airlines reserve the right to send skis and excess baggage on later flights. Excess baggage will be transferred to resort as soon as possible and we will provide emergency hire equipment if necessary. The luggage allowance may be pooled but this is subject to individual airline conditions.
Airlines
We use top charter airlines including Thomas Cook, Flybe and Monarch. We also use scheduled carriers such as British Airways. We do, however, reserve the right to use other airlines and destination airports, and to treat London Airports as interchangeable.
No-Frills Airlines
We also use alternative airlines such as EasyJet and Jet2. These airlines often have different conditions and baggage allowances to other carriers. The baggage allowance is normally 15kg or 20kg plus hand luggage up to 10kg.
Your Names List
A full passenger names list of all group members is now required from schools for all bookings when you pay your first deposits. Names should be exactly as per passport. This list is also submitted to our Insurance company to activate your immediate cancellation cover.
Ski Carriage
Most people take our inclusive hire skis. Should you wish to take your own a charge may be applicable - please enquire when booking. Aircraft luggage space is limited so ski carriage is subject to load.
In-flight Catering
Most airlines do not provide a hot meal service but sandwiches and drinks are usually available at an extra charge onboard your flight.
North American Flights
We offer transatlantic flights with a variety of scheduled airlines including Virgin Atlantic, British Airways, American Airlines, United Airlines, Air Canada, KLM, Air France and Continental Airlines, using Boeing 747, 767 and Airbus jets.
Our prices are based on special rates for limited allocation on scheduled flights. Once our allocated seats have been filled additional charges will apply, subsequently affecting the selling price of our tours. It is strictly first-come-first-served for the lowest tour price. Direct flights will be used wherever possible but cannot be guaranteed.
Prices are based on London departures. Regional departures are available at a supplement and subject to availability. Some of our flights operate via Paris or Amsterdam. We will endeavour to accommodate your preferred travel and departure day requests as best as possible, however, our airlines generally do not release flight allocations, timing or routes untill around 11 months in advance.
For New England resorts you will fly to either New York or Boston. Flight times to the east coast are around 7 hours and London departures are around midday, returning on an evening flight and arriving back in the UK the following morning.
Flights to San Francisco or Los Angeles are provided for our California resorts, and Las Vegas for Brian Head.
Canadian flights are to Montreal or Toronto in the east and Calgary or Edmonton in the west.
